Position: Home Health Aid

What You’ll Do

• Personal Care / ADL Support — bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and safe transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and repositioning
• Light meal prep as needed
• Maintain a professional, respectful environment

Requirements

• CNA or HHA certification
• 2 to 3 years of experience in caregiving / personal care
• Reliable transportation & valid FL driver’s license
• Ability to pass Level II background screening
• Required Certificates: CPR, HIV/Bloodborne Pathogens, Alzheimer’s/Dementia.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging companionship and conversation
• Ensure the client’s safety and well-being during visits and outings
• Share interests such as music or discussion of classic cars
• Accompany the client to approved outings (e.g., car shows)
• Create a calm, enjoyable environment while the spouse is away

What This Role Is Not

• No medical or clinical care required
• No heavy physical assistance
• No household chores beyond light companionship-related tasks
