Export Coordinator Trade Compliance

Penmac Staffing is currently seeking applicants for a qualified candidate for an Export Coordinator-Trade Compliance role to fill an opening with an employer located in Fort Smith, AR. The ideal candidates should have a stable work history that demonstrates reliability. In lieu of work history, will consider vocational/ technical high school and college courses and military service  

  

Requirements of the Export Coordinator-Trade Compliance 

 

Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. 

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. 

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to work accurately with shipment and documentation data. 

Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with global customers and cross-functional partners. 

Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. 

Good Attendance and punctuality is a must   

Willing to submit to a Background check/drug test

Responsibilities of the Export Coordinator-Trade Compliance 

Prepare, validate, and provide export documentation to customers in a timely manner. 

Review customer and country-specific documentation requirements and ensure export documents align with applicable standards. 

Partner cross-functionally with Export Market Supply, Logistics, Shipping, Operations, and other internal and external stakeholders to support timely, accurate, and compliant export processes. 

Maintain export documentation records to support audit readiness. 

Identify documentation gaps, process concerns, or recurring issues and escalate appropriately to support timely resolution.
