Order Operations Manager - Now Hiring

Description:

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is seeking an experienced Order Operations / EDI Manager to lead our Customer Service and Order Management functions. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring exceptional service to our customers while overseeing EDI operations, order fulfillment, and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. 

Requirements:

• Lead and develop the Customer Service team and EDI Specialist.
• Oversee order processing, validation, allocation, and fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for customer concerns, deductions, and order discrepancies.
• Partner closely with Sales, Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse, Inventory, Finance, and IT.
• Manage daily EDI operations, monitor transactions, troubleshoot errors, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Collaborate with ERP vendors and IT to improve system functionality and customer service workflows.
• Monitor key performance metrics including fill rates, backorders, order accuracy, and service levels.
• Develop and improve customer service and EDI processes while maintaining compliance with customer and food safety requirements.

Qualifications

•  Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of customer service or order management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing EDI processes and customer order integrations.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, customer portals, and order management systems.
• Familiarity with EDI transaction sets such as 850, 855, 856, 810, and 997 is preferred.
• Advanced problem-solving, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Compensation details: 90000-110000 Yearly Salary
