The custodian’s primary responsibility will be facility cleaning including bathrooms and breakrooms and other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Floor cleaning utilizing the following machinery: burnisher, carpet cleaner, floor scrubber, and pressure washer
Lunchroom duties including coffee, cleaning, stock supplies, coffee orders,
assuring that the lunchroom is in order and clean at all times.
May be back-up for mail delivery and pick-ups
Clean all restrooms in buildings
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
May require knowledge of postage equipment
Vacuum offices and general cleaning as needed
Other duties as required
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently is required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
