Bobtail Truck Driver

Connect Staffing is hiring a Bobtail Truck Driver for a foam products manufacturer and distributor in Waco, TX. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $18/hr on a Monday–Friday day schedule. You will drive a bobtail or box truck to deliver foam products to job sites and customers, then load and unload materials using dollies and pallet jacks. This role offers a consistent daytime schedule with no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive a bobtail or box truck on local routes to deliver foam products to job sites and customer locations.
• Load and unload materials at the warehouse and delivery stops using dollies and pallet jacks.
• Secure loads properly before each trip and verify load accuracy against delivery paperwork.
• Collect customer signatures and confirm delivered quantities at each stop.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking tires, lights, fluids, and brakes.
• Support warehouse operations between runs — organizing inventory and staging outbound loads.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• 1+ year of experience driving a bobtail, box truck, or similar delivery vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering building materials, insulation, or foam products.
• Familiarity with pallet jack and dolly operation for heavy or bulky loads.
• Experience obtaining customer signatures and maintaining delivery paperwork or logs.
• Knowledge of local Waco-area roads and job site delivery procedures.
• Experience supporting warehouse operations such as staging, organizing, or pulling orders.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
