Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week, onsite)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Temporary Senior Corporate Paralegal to support a corporate legal team with securities compliance, SEC reporting, governance matters, and legal documentation management. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who has experience supporting publicly traded companies and can manage complex projects with accuracy and discretion.
The successful candidate will work closely with legal, finance, executive, and internal business teams while helping maintain compliance processes, corporate records, and governance documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support preparation, review, and coordination of SEC filings and corporate compliance documentation
- Assist legal and finance teams with securities reporting processes and related deadlines
- Maintain corporate governance records, including legal entity documents, meeting materials, and company records
- Coordinate preparation of materials for Board of Directors, committee, and stockholder meetings
- Manage and organize electronic legal files while supporting improvements to document management processes
- Develop and maintain tracking systems, calendars, and workflows related to governance and compliance requirements
- Assist with Section 16 filings, insider trading compliance documentation, and related corporate records
- Provide support for due diligence, document discovery, litigation-related requests, and other legal projects as needed
- Assist with vendor coordination, budget tracking, and invoice management
- Prepare presentations, meeting materials, and internal legal communications
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably within a publicly traded company or large corporate legal department
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance practices and SEC reporting processes
- Experience preparing, reviewing, or coordinating SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with executives and various stakeholders
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with capital markets, entity management, executive compensation, or vendor management
- Familiarity with privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and/or HIPAA
- Experience supporting corporate sustainability initiatives or executive-level presentations
- Experience with board management software, legal document management systems, Workiva, or Smartsheet
