Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Custom Mill Worker to join a leading door and window distribution company in Greensboro, NC. This position is responsible for accurately measuring, moving, staging, and processing doors and windows to meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong measurement skills, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable handling large building products in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred but not required.

This position is responsible for accurately measuring, moving, staging, and processing doors and windows to meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong measurement skills, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable handling large building products in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure doors, windows, and related building materials accurately using tape measures and work orders
- Move, stage, and organize doors, windows, and materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Read and interpret customer orders, specifications, and measurements
- Inspect products for quality, damage, and order accuracy before shipment
- Assist with custom modifications and preparation of products according to customer requirements
- Load and unload materials safely while preventing product damage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work closely with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, millwork, building materials, door, or window experience preferred
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure and read measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to read and understand work instructions in English
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Steel-toe shoes required
- Must complete hiring process
- Must meet background screening requirements
- Must successfully complete a drug screening
- Must be able to interview with the client
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience working with doors, windows, millwork, or building materials
- Order processing or order fulfillment experience
- Experience reading specifications, dimensions, and material lists
