Application Developer / Reverse Engineer
Columbia, MD | Full Time | TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
Position: Application Developer / Reverse Engineer (Application Developer, Level 3)
Location: Columbia, MD (on-site)
Category: Software Development / Reverse Engineering
Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 (annualized USD)
Experience Requirement:
12+ years with a Bachelor's degree, OR
10+ years with a Master's degree, OR
4 additional years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
Description
You will act as a general-purpose Software Engineer and Reverse Engineer for up-and-coming projects where you will design, develop, prototype, modify, and integrate solutions that deliver real impact. You'll work closely with analysts, data scientists, and other software engineers to provide tactical technical support.
Responsibilities
Augment existing toolsets.
Derive, document, and analyze requirements.
Produce end-to-end toolsets that can operate within project constraints.
Take part in peer code reviews to reduce defects.
Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of requirements.
Skills Requirements
Produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python/Assembly.
In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and network traffic analysis (e.g., Wireshark).
Provide support for fielded software systems.
Familiarity with Git and Subversion.
Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).
Nice to Haves
Experience reverse-engineering Windows or embedded platforms (RTOS).
Experience developing software in Windows/Linux/Embedded applications.
Experience with any of the following: Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust.
Experience with Vulnerability Research and Exploit Development.
Compensation Employment Policy
Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000 (annualized USD).
