Workers' Compensation Paralegal

A Columbia boutique Plaintiff's law firm is seeking a qualified workers' compensation paralegal to support a high profile partner in their busy practice!

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Well versed in all aspects of Worker's Compensation and litigation
• 2+ years of claimant's SC workers' compensation case management experience
• Personal injury law is a plus but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Previous experience with case management software a PLUS
• Professional demeanor and appearance required
• Daily contact with clients
• Handle case load of 60+ cases
• Draft legal correspondence
• Collect medical records & bills
• Set up IME's
• Draft Briefs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent computer skills
• 2+ years of SC workers' compensation case management experience
• Able to handle disruptions in your day and re-focus
• Able to meet deadlines
• Work closely as a team with peer paralegals
• Case management software required
• A mentally mature paralegal who also works independently without spreading your drama
