Behavior Technician

Bright Horizons Academy Inc. is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to support learners with behavioral and learning needs in an onsite setting.

Position Summary

As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with students to help reinforce positive behaviors and strengthen daily routines. You will partner closely with behavior and clinical staff to implement individualized strategies and document progress to ensure each learner's goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement behavior support plans and strategies under the direction of supervising professionals

• Support learners with skill development through structured activities and positive reinforcement

• Track and document behavior observations and progress accurately and consistently

• Maintain a safe, supportive classroom and participant environment

• Collaborate with team members and communicate updates to support continuity of care

Required Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals requiring behavioral support (formal or informal)

• Ability to follow structured procedures and apply feedback from supervising staff

• Strong communication skills and professionalism with students, families, and colleagues

• Ability to support behavioral interventions consistently and respectfully

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with behavioral best practices and positive behavior supports

• Experience working in a school, childcare, or therapeutic setting

• Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a calm approach during challenging moments

• Experience collecting basic behavioral data and maintaining timely documentation

Compensation

Hourly rate: $17.00 - $20.00
