Position Summary

We are seeking a collaborative and solutions-oriented Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing People team. This fully onsite role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing support across the full employee lifecycle while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with employment policies and practices.

The HRBP will partner closely with managers on employee relations, performance management, onboarding, HR systems, compliance, benefits administration, and organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution, and has experience working within HRIS platforms while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Business Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, organizational changes, and workforce planning.
  • Coach managers on employee performance, conflict resolution, corrective action, and best practices in employee engagement.
  • Support employee investigations and assist in resolving workplace concerns while ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement People initiatives that enhance the employee experience and support business objectives.

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience from hire through separation.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation, employment documentation, I-9 verification, and system access.
  • Process employee status changes, promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and terminations while maintaining accurate HR records.
  • Ensure personnel files remain current and compliant with federal, state, and company record retention requirements.

HRIS & Data Management

  • Maintain and audit employee data within HR information systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Support HRIS administration by processing employee transactions, validating system data, and assisting with reporting.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies while partnering with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate employee records.
  • Generate HR metrics and reports to support business decisions and compliance requirements.

Benefits & Payroll Support

  • Support employee benefits administration, including new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and employee education regarding available benefit programs.
  • Partner with Payroll to validate employee data impacting payroll processing, leave administration, and compensation changes.
  • Assist with payroll audits and ensure employee records accurately reflect compensation and benefit changes.

Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including I-9 requirements, employment eligibility verification, and document retention standards.
  • Assist with unemployment claims, employment verifications, workplace accommodations, and leave administration.
  • Support HR compliance initiatives, internal audits, and policy updates.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.

Projects & Process Improvement

  • Participate in HR initiatives, technology enhancements, and process improvement projects that increase operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain HR procedures, documentation, and standard operating practices.
  • Support organizational growth by contributing to workforce planning, change management, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality HR services and foster a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, HR operations, and HRIS administration.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Dayforce, Rippling, Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar systems.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, including onboarding, I-9 compliance, leave administration, and personnel records management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience preparing HR reports and metrics.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification is a plus.
