Now Hiring: Dishwashers, Servers & Porters – Waterloo, ON

We are currently hiring Dishwashers, Servers, and Porters for on-call event shifts in Waterloo. This is a great opportunity for hospitality workers looking for flexible, event-based work in a fast-paced environment.

Multiple shifts available – Students are welcome to apply!

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Server Responsibilities

• Provide professional food and beverage service to guests during corporate events
• Set up banquet tables, buffet stations, and ensure proper presentation standards
• Deliver prompt and courteous service while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction

Dishwasher Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dish area
• Assist kitchen staff with basic support tasks during busy event service

Porter Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and teardown, including moving tables, chairs, and equipment
• Manage waste disposal, recycling, and maintain cleanliness of event spaces
• Restock supplies and support back-of-house operations as needed

General Responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of guest and service areas
• Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Previous serving/event experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude

Dress Code

• All-black attire required

Shifts: On-call / Event-based (6 to 8-hour shifts)
