Quality Safety Health and Environment Manager

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE/QSHE) Manager
Summary:
Responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental, and OSHA regulations while promoting a culture of workplace safety and environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities

·       Implement and maintain safety, health, and environmental programs and compliance standards.

·       Lead Safety and Environmental Committees and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

·       Conduct safety training, new hire orientations, and maintain training records and matrices.

·       Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, property damage, and near misses; implement corrective actions.

·       Manage OSHA reporting, injury records, and compliance documentation.

·       Perform safety inspections, emergency drills, and spill response exercises.

·       Develop and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS), including environmental objectives and compliance requirements.

·       Ensure employees receive all required safety and environmental training.

·       Promote employee engagement and a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma, GED, or Technical Degree required.

·       5+ years of Health & Safety experience, preferably in a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment.

·       Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.

·       Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·       Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

·       OSHA, CSP, ASP, CHST, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 experience/certifications are a plus.
