DIRECT HIRE -CDL DRIVER

Position Summary 

The CDL Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of products to customers and company locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining delivery schedules, and supporting day-to-day logistics operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations. 
• Deliver granite slabs, samples, and related materials to customers. 
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. 
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection records, and transportation documentation. 
• Coordinate delivery schedules and route changes as needed. 
• Support Sales Representatives by managing and delivering sample materials. 
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams. 
• Uphold all company safety standards, policies, and procedures. 

Required Qualifications 

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. 
• Clean driving record with no major violations. 
• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Strong organizational and time-management skills. 
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Previous CDL driving experience within logistics, transportation, or retail distribution. 
• Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and route-planning software. 
• Customer service experience. 
• Experience managing delivery schedules in a fast-paced environment.
