About the Role:
Join HAMPTON INN Morgantown as a Guest Service Agent, where you'll be the friendly face that welcomes guests to our vibrant hotel. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a memorable stay for every visitor while representing a company known for its exceptional service and hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Manage reservations and maintain accurate guest records.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist with billing and payment processes during check-out.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding guest service.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
