Whatcom Meadows Camping Association has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Member
Services Associate and is now accepting applications!
We are looking for someone who is personable, enjoys working with people, and is eager to take on a
variety of responsibilities in our office. If you are organized, customer-focused, and comfortable using
technology, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Summary:
The Member Services Associate serves as the primary point of contact for members, providing
exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Association. This role is
responsible for assisting members with inquiries, maintaining accurate membership records, coordinating
communications, and helping ensure a positive member experience.
The ideal candidate is organized, personable, technology-savvy, and enjoys working in a fast-paced
environment.
Key Responsibilities (but are not limited to)
Serve as the first point of contact for member inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
Assist members with account updates, payments, and general information.
Resolve member concerns professionally or escalate issues when appropriate.
Provide outstanding customer service that reflects the Associations values.
Respond promptly to member emails and telephone inquiries.
Maintain informational materials for members.
Assist members with login issues and navigation of the Member Portal.
Maintain filing systems and organizational records.
Support Member Services Team and the Board of Directors as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to three years of customer service or administrative experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Gmail.
Comfortable learning new software and databases.
Working Conditions:
Office-based position with regular interaction with members.
Some evening and weekend work is required.
Ability to sit for extended periods and perform computer-based work.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
