Shipping Clerk

Resource MFG is hiring for an experienced Shipping Clerk in Williamston.

Day Shift

$17.00 - 20.00 per hour based on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Specialist to manage our domestic and international shipping operations. You will ensure materials are properly prepared, packaged, and documented to support production schedules and maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, package, and prepare products for shipment.
• Verify shipment accuracy, including quantities, weights, and part numbers.
• Coordinate shipments using carrier software (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager).
• Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and customs documentation.
• Build and repair custom shipping crates and pallets using hand/power tools.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
• Load and unload shipments while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
• Experience with international shipping and forklift operation is a plus.
• Proficiency in UPS WorldShip, FedEx platforms, and basic MS Office.
• Strong physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
