Position Summary

Courier Printing Corporation is seeking dependable, safety-conscious Delivery Drivers to transport high-quality printed materials to customers throughout New York and surrounding states. Drivers represent the company at every customer stop and play an important role in maintaining Courier Printing's reputation for quality, reliability, and outstanding customer service.

Drivers operate a 22-foot box truck and commercial cargo van, delivering everything from brochures and business forms to books, direct mail, marketing materials, and specialty print products. The position requires safe driving practices, careful handling of printed materials, excellent customer service, and the ability to meet scheduled delivery times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Deliver printed materials accurately and on schedule to customers throughout metropolitan and regional delivery areas.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload printed products while preventing damage during transit.
• Verify orders, delivery manifests, packing slips, and customer signatures.
• Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS and navigation systems.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and represent Courier Printing in a courteous manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Assist with warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling duties when deliveries are complete.
• Maintain accurate mileage, delivery, and fuel records.
• Follow company security procedures for customer materials and confidential printed documents.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating a 22-foot box truck and commercial cargo van.
• Experience driving in metropolitan areas, including heavy traffic and commercial loading zones.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to safely load and unload printed materials.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience is helpful but not required.
• DOT medical certification is a plus but not required for this position.
