Job Description
Title: Senior Technical Recruiter
9/80 Schedule
Duration: 6 months (possible extension/conversion!)
Pay rate: $40-48/HR
Location: Winchester, VA(REMOTE)
Position Summary:
Become a vital part of ensuring the company has the very best talent available. As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will lead efforts in delivering high-quality candidates for various hiring needs. You will help advance the employer brand across diverse markets and professional communities, while guiding both hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment process.
The successful candidate will: Perform full life cycle recruiting by building excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates and the entire BAE Systems community. You will have the opportunity to exercise a wide degree of creativity in generating new candidate leads, influence the near and long-term recruiting vision and increase your business acumen
Key Responsibilities:
Full-life cycle recruiting expertise:
- Proven experience in managing the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, qualifying candidates, networking, assessing candidates, and relationship management.
- Strategic recruitment: Ability to recruit for a broad and deep range of positions across multiple locations, with a focus on national and multi-location recruitment.
- Collaboration and partnership: Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective recruiting strategies, sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches, with a focus on managing customer and partner expectations.
- Organizational and documentation skills: Ability to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities in an applicant tracking system.
- Compliance and process adherence: Strong understanding of and ability to comply with various processes and procedures, including those related to recruitment, talent acquisition, and Department of Defense (DOD) regulations.
- Prior experience with DOD contract administrators: Experience recruiting contract administrators for DOD or similar organizations, with a focus on understanding the unique requirements and regulations associated with these roles.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 6 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Preferred: Familiarity with Brass Ring Kenexa applicant tracking system
- Preferred: Familiarity with Phenom Candidate Relationship (CRM)
- Preferred: ???????Familiarity with Paradox
- Strong experience recruiting across various functions, including Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, and Supply Chain—preferably within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions across a national, multi-location organization.
- Skilled in developing effective sourcing and closing strategies in partnership with hiring teams.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
