Sandwich Specialist

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused person to join our team! AS a sandwich specialist, you'll prepare fresh, high- quality sandwiches while providing outstanding customer service in a clean, fast paced environment. Team members are expected to maintain food safety standards, keep the restaurant stocked and organized, and assist with daily cleaning and food preparation to ensure every customer has an excellent experience. 

Responsibilities- 

- Greet every customer with a friendly-positive attitude 

- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently 

- Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations 

- Prepare made to order sandwiches according to company standards

- Slice meat and cheese, if applicable 

- Portion ingredients for daily use

- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, as well as table and counters

- Empty trash daily 

- Sweep and mop floors

- Assist with deep cleaning

- Restock meats, cheeses, vegetables, bread, beverages, chips, etc 

- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock 

- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations 

- Prevent cross-contamination 

- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment 

- Ability to stand for extended periods 

- Ability to lift 40 pounds 

- Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and accuracy
