Senior Golang Backend Developer (Linux, Docker, Kubernetes)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Golang Backend Developer to join our engineering team and develop secure, scalable backend applications in a Linux-based environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Golang, container technologies, Linux systems, and enterprise authentication mechanisms. This role involves designing and developing new features, troubleshooting complex issues, integrating with identity management systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Golang.

· Develop new functional features and enhance existing applications.

· Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.

· Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code while following best practices.

· Refactor existing code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.

· Participate in solution design discussions and technical planning sessions.

· Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

· Estimate development effort and deliver assigned tasks within project timelines.

· Create and maintain technical documentation.

· Analyze and understand existing code through reverse engineering when required.

· Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go) development.

· Strong Linux experience, including system administration and development in Linux environments.

· Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

· Experience managing SSH keys, PKI certificates, and certificate lifecycle management.

· Strong understanding of LDAP, Active Directory, user/group management, LDAP queries, and LDAP filters.

· Experience with enterprise authentication technologies such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

· Experience working with open-source authentication and security components, including DNS, PAM, LDAP schema, or certificate libraries.

· Experience using Git/GitHub for source code management.

· Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.

· Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

· 2+ years of professional experience developing applications with Golang.

· 6+ years of software development experience in Linux environments.

· 2+ years of programming experience with C.

· Experience with Python or JavaScript.

· Experience building backend services or microservices in enterprise environments.

· Familiarity with secure access management and identity solutions.
