Description

Join a team of professionals where you will have achieved level I certification and are responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks that support the Operations and Production departments.

Come Build with Us:
  • Unpack, inspect, identify nozzle rings and assemble.
  • Assist with racking, shipping & receiving products manufactured by TAPS.
  • Maintain up to date status on all document reviews.
  • Understand quality requirements and effect on nonconformance on the customer.
  • Understand and document properly on travelers including making corrections on job travelers due to nonconforming parts.
  • Understand and perform MES operations and 1st piece and in-process inspection requirements.
  • Remove barcodes for unassembled rings.
  • Work towards requirements for Assembler - Operator level II certification.
  • Support and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Bring Your Expertise:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must have achieved certification as Assembler - Operator level I.
  • Good math skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks; attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 50 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects.
  • Must be able to climb in and out of small places; crawl around machinery. Must be able to sit for long periods of time and maintain focus on the job at hand.
