Export Declaration / Documentation Specialist

Our client is seeking an Export Declaration / Documentation Specialist to support international shipping operations. This role is responsible for preparing and filing export declarations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating export documentation with shipping partners.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and file export declarations through AES.
• Verify shipment details, including HS codes and export documentation.
• Create and transmit Bill of Lading instructions to shipping lines via EDI.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with shipping lines and internal teams to support timely shipments.

Qualifications:

• Experience in export documentation, customs compliance, or international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of AES filing requirements and Incoterms.
• Proficiency with export filing systems and EDI platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
