The Panther Group is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician I for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading medical device manufacturer in Nashua, NH.

This position supports the assembly of innovative medical devices during the Design Verification phase of product development. Working alongside Design & Development Engineers and Technicians, you'll play an important role in building high-quality medical devices while helping transition new products into manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and package complex medical devices according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
  • Support Design & Development projects during the Design Verification (Phase 3) process.
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products.
  • Complete quality documentation and production records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with inventory management and material organization.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following established quality and safety procedures.
  • Work closely with engineers and technicians in a collaborative team environment.
  • Assist with the transfer of new products from development into production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience using precision measurement tools such as:
    • Calipers
    • Micrometers
    • Pin gauges
    • Rulers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience assembling medical devices or other precision products.
  • Experience working in a clean room or Controlled Environment Room (CER).
  • Experience with laser welding equipment.
  • Experience with catheter manufacturing equipment, including:
    • Hot boxes
    • Laminators
    • Split die bonders
    • Tipping machines
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems within a medical device manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read manufacturing process instructions (MPIs).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience completing quality documentation and production records.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to perform detailed assembly work under a microscope for extended periods.
  • Ability to handle and manipulate very small components with precision.
Pay rate up to $24.04 per hour Depending on experience
