Certified NETA II Technician

Rev1 Energy is seeking a certified NETA Level II Technician to oversee and perform protective relay and electrical apparatus testing at a new-build substation in Missouri. The technician will support commissioning activities and help ensure that all equipment is tested safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications and applicable industry standards.

The successful candidate must be available to mobilize on September 1, 2026, and remain onsite for the anticipated four- to six-week project duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform protective relay and electrical apparatus testing.
• Support the testing, commissioning, and energization of new substation equipment.
• Verify equipment operation against project drawings, specifications, and approved testing procedures.
• Perform functional testing, secondary injection testing, and system checks as required.
• Troubleshoot testing discrepancies and equipment performance issues.
• Coordinate testing activities with project management, engineering, construction, and commissioning personnel.
• Accurately document test results and prepare clear, complete testing reports.
• Maintain compliance with NETA standards, site safety requirements, and applicable electrical regulations.
