Mechanical Assembler

POSITION SUMMARY

• To assemble finished product using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners according to customer specification, drawings, and company policies
• To perform spot welding using resistance welders/machines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Use hands and power tools.
• Sets up and operate machines such as drill press, grinders, riveters.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer specifications / blueprints.
• Checks assembled products, comparing each to customer requirements, blueprints and BOM and Router instructions.
• Resolves assembly problems and reports to Supervisor for assistance.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
• Support production schedule by safely performing work efficiently.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent degree in a related area.
• 1-3 years of experience in the field or in related area
• Experience in intricate hand assembly
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Requires the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE)

M-Th 7AM-4:30 PM, Fri 7AM-11AM
