Job Description
Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hydraulic Assembler to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and repairing hydraulic components and assemblies while ensuring all products meet quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, has strong mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in producing high-quality finished products.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assemble hydraulic components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and production specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly prints, and technical documentation.
- Align, fit, and install components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and lifting equipment.
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform functional testing on finished products and troubleshoot basic assembly issues as needed.
- Clean and prepare components before, during, and after assembly using manual and automated cleaning equipment.
- Apply serial numbers, identification markings, and production documentation accurately.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area while following company safety procedures.
- Communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support other production and assembly operations as needed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings, or the willingness to learn.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative production team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility with exposure to production equipment and moving machinery.
- Non-climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures.
- Moderate to loud noise levels throughout the facility.
- Required use of personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, steel-toe footwear, and hearing protection when necessary.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
- Regular use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Good manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform detailed assembly and inspection tasks.
