Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and attentive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personalized, high-quality care for a home health care for a client in Bladensburg, MD. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, routine household tasks, and personal care to ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive living environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care & Hygiene: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.

• Light Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, washing dishes, changing bed linens, keeping living areas tidy, and taking out the trash.

• Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary guidelines.

• Medication Reminders: Provide timely reminders for medication compliance.

• Companionship & Engagement: Offer meaningful conversation, engagement, and emotional support.

• Errands & Transportation: Assist with routine local errands, light grocery shopping, or medical appointments as needed.

• Safety & Monitoring: Monitor client well-being, report changes in physical or mental condition, and maintain a safe home environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid CNA or HHA certification in the state of Maryland or DC preferred.

• Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or assisted living settings.

• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience.

• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.

• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

• Basic First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
