Father Hood Coordinator / Coach / Teacher

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the planning, and delivery of the Fatherhood Engagement program. The aim of the Fatherhood Engagement program is to enhance the health and well-being of children and families by supporting, encouraging, and promoting fathers’ roles in their child’s lives. This is for the position of Fatherhood Coordinator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· develop and Implement Fatherhood Engagement Plan

· maintenance of timely and accurate records, visits, contacts and screenings and linkage in the case

management system.

· Contribute to submission of grant proposals and opportunities for supplemental funding.

· Complete home visits (face to face) encounters with participant, presenting 24/7 curriculum, help

family with referrals, and other needs to help sustain the family unit.

· Be available for evening and weekend activities as needed to accommodate families’ schedules.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

related field prefer experience in community outreach and/or working with at risk fathers/families. Ability to prioritize work requirements, work with diverse populations, some evenings and weekends.

Knowledge of community resources and maternal and child health experience is desirable.

Bachelors degree preferred.
