Our expertise ranges from basic tax management and accounting services to more in-depth services such as financial statements and financial planning.
We are currently hiring for the position of Tax Associate.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tax accounting and corporate accounting, with a comprehensive understanding of financial concepts and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing tax compliance, managing tax planning strategies, and providing guidance on various financial matters.
Responsibilities
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- Conduct tax research and stay up to date on federal and state tax regulations
- Collaborate with clients to provide insights on financial services, including investment strategies and asset management.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports while ensuring accuracy in double-entry bookkeeping.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and other financial software for efficient data management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Actively working towards a Bachelors degree in Accounting.
- Intermediate/advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Sage, and QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate accounting practices, including general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Preferred experience in Thomson Reuters UltraTax software.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
