Primary Care LPN

Job Title: Contingent Clinical Care LVN/LPN Float
Location: Waxhaw, NC 28173
Job Type: Contract to hire
Schedule: Full-time 32–40 hrs/week, includes every other weekend + some major holidays
Pay: $37.17 an hr

Job Summary

We’re hiring an LVN/LPN Float to support a fast-paced environment. This is an onsite, patient-facing role that may require floating to nearby locations. You’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care, support clinic operations, and work closely with the clinical team to ensure a safe, efficient patient experience.

What You’ll Do

• Administer oral, injectable, IV, and topical medications per protocol
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Support phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Document accurately in the EMR (Epic or similar preferred)
• Assist with medication reviews and patient education
• Keep clinic clean, stocked, organized, and patient-ready at all times
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care team members

Required Qualifications

• Active LVN or LPN license in good standing (no current or prior disciplinary actions)
• BLS certification (must be valid at least 30+ days beyond start date)
• 1+ year experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
• Phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing experience
• Comfortable using EMR systems (Epic preferred)
• Ability to work the required schedule and complete 3 weeks of initial training with no planned time off

Note: Candidates whose experience is primarily in long-term care (nursing home/home health/LTAC/SNF only) may struggle in this setting.

Nice to Have

• Epic EMR experience (or similar)
