- Direct Hire Position
- These roles do require night and weekend shifts, along with extended hours and overtime
- $2 shift differential on top of the base
SUMMARY
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, electrical and electronic systems in commercial or industrial establishments by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Inspect and test machinery and equipment as required to ensure proper function.
Troubleshoot machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with operators or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Replaces and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Mastery of reading blueprints, electrical or hydraulic schematics and other technical materials.
Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment and programmable controllers.
Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
Operates cuttings torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines.
Logs time and materials allocations to ensure accurate records.
Design and fabricate machine and equipment modifications as needed to achieve customer satisfaction.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
Responsible for adherence to the policies, procedures and instructions of the ISO 14001 systems.
QUALIFICATIONS for Technician III
Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school in maintenance or related field and 6 years technical experience in industrial maintenance position or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment and can demonstrate a mastery of at least two (2) of the essential maintenance skills.
Able to follow both written and verbal instruction.
QUALIFICATIONS for Technician II
High School Diploma, or equivalent, and 3 to 5 years technical experience in industrial maintenance position in a manufacturing environment and can demonstrate a mastery of at least two (2) of the essential maintenance skills.
Able to follow both written and verbal instruction.
Shifts:
- 1st Shift (Maintenance Technician III): Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Mandatory overtime on Saturdays per management (1 opening)
- Mandatory overtime on Mondays and Thursdays, if required (1 opening)
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
- Mandatory overtime on Fridays and Saturdays per management (2 openings)
- 3rd Shift: Friday–Sunday, 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
