Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled, dedicated Independent Contractor Optometrist (OD) to join our team on a flexible full-time or part-time basis. In this role, you will have clinical autonomy to practice full-scope optometry, utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to care for a diverse patient base.

Technology & Office Support

• Advanced Diagnostics: Our clinic features the Optos Retinal Camera, allowing for thorough, efficient wellness screenings and pathology management.
• Modern Workflow: We utilize Eyefinity EHR for streamlined, paperless charting and exam documentation.
• Dedicated Support: You will be supported by an experienced pre-testing, optical, and administrative team to optimize your patient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams to assess visual acuity and overall ocular health.
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, diseases, and visual disorders.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, specialty contact lenses, and necessary therapeutic medications.
• Utilize Optos imaging to educate patients on their retinal health and monitor pathology.
• Maintain accurate records using Eyefinity EHR.

Qualifications & Skills

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school.
• Active Ohio state license to practice optometry in good standing.
• Proficiency with, or willingness to learn, Eyefinity EHR.
• Excellent patient chair-side manner and clinical decision-making skills.
