Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Theranostics
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support a growing Radioligand Therapy (RLT) program for the treatment of prostate cancer and neuroendocrine tumors. This role will support current operations and help expand services to a new treatment site in Florham Park, NJ.
Schedule: Flexible 24-40 hours per week between 8am-5pm, depending on the candidate's availability.
Location: Candidate should be flexible to assist at both Florham Park and Clifton sites - mileage reimbursement provided
Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and radioligand therapies under physician supervision.
- Educate and monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and ALARA standards.
- Document treatments, doses, and patient outcomes accurately.
- Perform quality control on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, oncology, pharmacy, and radiology teams.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
- CNMT and/or ARRT(N) certification required.
- Current state licensure as required.
- Experience in therapeutic nuclear medicine or radioligand therapy preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling, radiation safety, and patient care.
