Responsibilities:
TRC Talent Solutions is looking for a Bag Room Operator for our client in Senoia, GA
OVERVIEW: The Bag Room Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring barrier shrink bag production equipment to ensure the safe and efficient manufacture of high-quality packaging products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
OVERVIEW: The Bag Room Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring barrier shrink bag production equipment to ensure the safe and efficient manufacture of high-quality packaging products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor bag-making machinery to produce products that meet customer specifications.
- Perform quality inspections and document results according to company standards.
- Label, weigh, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required system transactions.
- Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues to supervision.
- Assist with machine adjustments, setup, and minor troubleshooting.
- Ensure raw materials are available and properly loaded into equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements.
- Work effectively with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn manufacturing processes.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform repetitive tasks.
