Job Description
Step into an exciting opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple grade levels during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time onsite contract position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment with seasoned professionals committed to making a difference in the lives of children.
You’ll have the unique experience of serving two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school as part of a dedicated SLP team that includes four other Speech Language Pathologists and one Speech Language Pathology Assistant. With a focus on conducting evaluations, your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping educational outcomes and ensuring each student receives the support they need to thrive.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Washington SLP License required
- Washington Educator Certification (ESA)
- Eligible for SLP – CCC or SLP – CFY; open to school-based SLPs
- Experience with school caseloads and a commitment to best practices in speech-language pathology
- Positive communicator who thrives working on interdisciplinary teams
- Adaptable professional eager to support a diverse caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete evaluations as the main priority, managing documentation and reporting efficiently
- Collaborate closely with fellow SLPs, educators, and support staff across schools
- Deliver direct therapy, consultation, and intervention to students as needed
- Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and engage with families throughout the process
- Maintain compliance with district and state regulations
