Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking Electrical Estimators to fill an opening in Grove City, OH!

Shift: 1st

Compensation: $75,000 - $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical and low-voltage construction projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for branch circuits, lighting, devices, feeders, and other small electrical systems using on-screen takeoff software.
• Enter and maintain takeoff data within estimating software while ensuring organized and accurate project documentation.
• Solicit, evaluate, and manage vendor and subcontractor pricing for materials and specialty systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive and comprehensive project proposals.
• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage multiple estimates and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget objectives.
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to achieve mutually beneficial pricing and project outcomes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of estimating experience, preferably in the electrical construction industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical and low-voltage systems.
• Experience performing detailed quantity takeoffs using on-screen takeoff software.
• Proficiency with computerized estimating software.
• High mathematical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience managing vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve win-win solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
