Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students in grades 6, 7, 8, and 12+ (Transition Population) as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Windsor Locks, CT. In this flexible, part-time role, you'll make a significant impact on students’ communication development and transition success, working three consistent days each week, totaling 18 hours. Choose the days that best fit your schedule—the only requirement is consistency week to week.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience providing speech and language services to middle, high school, and/or transition-aged students preferred
  • Skill in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and providing direct interventions
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort with engaging in PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy for students in grades 6, 7, 8, and the transition population (12+)
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough documentation
  • Participate in and contribute to PPT meetings scheduled on your designated workdays
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, specialists, and families regarding student needs and progress
  • Support students’ development of functional communication skills essential for academic and post-secondary success
