Qualifications and Credentials:

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• LBS1 endorsement
• Early Childhood Special Education approval (or Early Childhood Education certification)
• Experience working with preschool-age children, especially in special education settings, strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt age-appropriate lesson plans for preschoolers with diverse learning needs
• Implement IEPs and provide direct instruction and interventions
• Collaborate with related service providers, families, and other educators to ensure student success
• Maintain regular documentation of student progress and communicate updates
