AI Engineer

A leading global investment firm is seeking an AI Engineer to help apply cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies to real-world business challenges across its investment platform. This individual will work directly with portfolio managers, analysts, and senior business stakeholders to develop innovative AI solutions that enhance research workflows, improve productivity, and drive better decision-making. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a commercial mindset, strong technical capabilities, and a passion for bringing modern AI technologies into production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with investment professionals to identify opportunities for AI-driven workflow improvements.
• Build and deploy research tools leveraging LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic AI systems.
• Develop GenAI applications using both internal platforms and external AI models/APIs.
• Lead projects from concept through production, including prototyping, deployment, and user feedback.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.

Preferred Background:

• Experience building and deploying AI/ML applications in production environments.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, agentic systems, RAG, and modern AI frameworks.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Will consider candidates with experience in financial services, technology, consulting, or other data-intensive industries
