Billing Operations Specialist

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Billing Operations Specialist I for a contract opportunity in Deerfield, IL. Remote allowed but prefer someone local to Deerfield in case onsite meetings are needed.

*6 month extendable contract position*

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

o Ability to organize workload and prioritize tasks

o Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and ability to self-check

o Ability to clearly identify and resolve routine and some non-routine issues on a timely basis

o Effective written and verbal communication skills

o Ability to learn new systems quickly (i.e. JD Edwards, and GSP)

o Working knowledge of Excel

o Must have the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects; should be able to ask the right questions and lead conversations in order to solve customer or internal issues

o Must be able to work effectively within a cross functional group to address business issues and ensure milestones are met.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will be an integral part of the Capital Services and Support team. The primary function of this position is to support the back-office customer operation functions associated with monthly cycler rental billing and entry of data into the GSP system.

Job Responsibilities

o Enter individual billing agreements in GSP per each cycler shipped based on the daily shipment of cycler rental devices.

o Identify when patients have more than one cycler assigned so retrieval of one of the devices can be arranged.

o Identify when patients have more than one billing agreement active to determine if new billing agreement is required.

o Update and maintain data in designated Excel workbooks and tracking files.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited High school degree or equivalent; 4-year college degree (preferred)
