Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
  • Active special education teaching certification for the state of Texas (or eligibility for reciprocal certification)
  • Experience in IEP development, implementation, and data collection
  • Strong collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptability to new environments and teaching practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering tailored instruction to students with a variety of unique learning needs
  • Creating and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborating with general education staff and support personnel
  • Participating in interdisciplinary meetings and professional development sessions
