Responsibilities include supporting a “regular” special education classroom with a manageable caseload of 15-20 third and fourth-grade students. Here, you’ll implement individualized strategies, collaborate closely with other educators, and foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Active VT special education teaching certificate/license (required)
• Experience or strong interest working with third and fourth-grade students
• Skill in developing and executing IEPs
• Ability to maintain positive rapport with students, families, and staff
• Commitment to fostering student growth in a non-intensive classroom setting

Responsibilities:

• Lead a full-time classroom, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
• Develop lesson plans tailored to diverse learners
• Support 15-20 students’ unique educational goals
• Work collaboratively with case management and support teams
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
