Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead contract-based initiatives in Virginia. This Contract position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can coordinate complex workstreams, align cross-functional teams, and keep projects moving from planning through delivery. The role requires strong structure, clear communication, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Direct project plans from kickoff through completion, ensuring scope, timelines, and deliverables remain on track.
• Partner with stakeholders across multiple departments to define objectives, resolve issues, and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate meetings, status updates, and progress reviews to keep teams informed and accountable.
• Apply formal project management practices to organize work, monitor risks, and address blockers before they impact outcomes.
• Use Agile Scrum principles where appropriate to support iterative delivery and team collaboration.
• Track milestones, dependencies, and resource needs while adjusting plans to meet changing business demands.
• Prepare clear project documentation, reporting, and executive-ready updates on performance, risks, and next steps.• Proven experience leading projects in a formal project management environment.
• PMP certification or an equivalent project management credential.
• Strong ability to manage cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum methods and their application in project delivery.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and maintain momentum across simultaneous activities.
