LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing California law firm to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary for its Riverside office. We are seeking candidates with strong litigation support experience who thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in litigation-related matters.
- Draft, proofread, revise, and format pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, reports, and other legal documents.
- Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts, including electronic filings.
- Maintain attorney calendars, track court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and meetings.
- Assist with preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
- Manage electronic case files and related documentation.
- Handle time entry, billing support, and client matter openings.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reimbursements, vendor payments, and other administrative tasks.
- Provide backup support to other legal secretaries as needed.
- Minimum 7-10 years of legal secretary experience, preferably supporting partners or senior attorneys.
- Litigation experience required.
- Experience in public law, civil litigation, construction law, or business law is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of court filing procedures and litigation support functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with document management, calendaring, and time-entry systems.
- Hybrid schedule following the introductory training period.
