Job Title: Maintenance Technician II – Mechanical & RoboticsJob Description

This role supports the operations maintenance team by installing, maintaining, and repairing material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout a high-volume facility. You ensure that mechanical and robotic systems operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime, contributing directly to reliable and continuous operations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the operations maintenance team by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment across the facility.
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment to ensure consistent and efficient material flow.
  • Inspect, service, and repair pneumatic systems used throughout the building to maintain safe and reliable operation.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, robotic, and automation components to reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Diagnose equipment issues using systematic troubleshooting methods and restore equipment to service in a timely manner.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately to support continuous improvement and asset management.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and operations staff to prioritize work, coordinate repairs, and minimize impact on production.
  • Follow established safety procedures and maintenance standards while working on all equipment and systems.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience working as a maintenance technician in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining material handling equipment such as conveyors, sorters, or related systems.
  • Practical knowledge of installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.
  • Experience working with pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair of pneumatic components.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and equipment documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Commitment to working safely and following established safety protocols and maintenance standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience supporting operations maintenance teams in large-scale or high-throughput facilities.
  • Exposure to robotic or automated material handling systems in a distribution or fulfillment environment.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and maintenance documentation practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations and engineering.

Work Environment

You spend most of your time on the floor, working around conveyors, automated machinery, and robotics, using standard maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
