Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in school settings is strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with students across a range of ages and abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct speech and language therapy to students
- Collaborate closely with educational staff to support IEP development and progress monitoring
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and parents to implement strategies within the classroom and at home
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to evaluations and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment for students’ communication and social goals
