Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location\nDurant, Oklahoma
Schedule / Job Type\nContract (13 Weeks) | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide nursing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor & Delivery patients \n
- Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures to deliver safe, patient-centered care \n
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care \n
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff; provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel \n
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education \n
- Float to postpartum or nursery as needed \n

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license \n
- Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required \n
- BLS certification required \n
- ACLS certification required \n
- NRP certification required \n
- Ability to work nights and float to postpartum or nursery; blocked schedules and 48-hour guarantees cannot be accommodated \n
- \n
- Experience with Cerner EMR \n
- Familiarity with care of obstetrical patients at 20 weeks gestation and beyond, including labor and antepartum care \n
- Experience working in a unit with 1:1 or 2:1 patient ratios \n

- Scrubs are provided, reducing out-of-pocket expenses for the assignment \n
- No on-call requirements, offering a predictable and structured night shift schedule \n
