MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Monday – Wednesday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Perform MRI examinations across all patient age groups, from infants to geriatrics, in an acute care facility setting
\n
• Operate GE and Siemens wide bore MRI scanners (3T and 1.5T) within a three-scanner department
\n
• Conduct MRI scans on patients with conditional implants including MR conditional pacemakers, ICDs, and stimulators, following all applicable scanning conditions
\n
• Manage scanning of conditional devices using SAR and/or B1+RMS guidance, manipulating parameters to meet conditions for safe scanning
\n
• Work with anesthesia, pediatric sedation, ventilator-dependent ICU patients, and non-sedated pediatric patients
\n
• Participate in holiday rotation and serve as backup on-call coverage for third shift as needed
\n

Required Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
\n
• Active ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT registration required and must be in hand at time of submission
\n
• Hands-on experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment required
\n
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
\n
• Experience with L2 Trauma, pacemakers, ICDs, and conditional implants required
\n
• Experience in an acute care facility of similar size and function required
\n

Preferred Experience / Skills\n

\n
• Experience working in a high-volume, multi-scanner MRI department
\n
• Familiarity with a wide variety of MRI exam types across diverse patient populations
\n
• Comfort with variable shift lengths including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts
\n
