Job Responsibilities

Performs basic to complex quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety method as requested by a licensed physician in Interventional Radiology, Neuro Interventional Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Electrophysiology lab.
\n - \n
Sets up sterile table, assembles necessary instruments, catheters, guidewires, and contrast materials according to procedure requirements.
\n - \n
Assists Radiologist/Neurologist/Cardiologist with catheters, guidewires, balloons, coils, and treatments.
\n - \n
Develops appropriate procedure/treatment plan and implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.
\n - \n
Completes documentation as required to comply with policies and procedures.
\n - \n
Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
\n - \n
Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards.
\n - \n
Completes assigned goals.
\n - \n

Experience
\nDescription Minimum Required Preferred/Desired

Experience as obtained through Minimum of 1 year as a radiology the completion of a Radiology technologist. 6 months
\nTechnology Program. experience in IR/Cath lab/EP.
\nEducation
\nDescription Minimum Required Preferred/Desired

Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.

\nRadiography ARRT (R). ;BLS Certification within 14 days of hire; New graduate will obtain required registry within 120 days as required;. State license as required
